Welcome to Clinton Wesleyan Church. Our mission is to glorify Jesus
Christ by advancing the kingdom of God through outreach, discipleship and prayer. It is our task to lead people of all ages into a love relationship with Jesus Christ. We desire to assist and encourage all people to grow in grace from conversion to spiritual maturity. We are committed to excellence in developing, encouraging and equipping believers to use their God-given gifts in building up the body of Christ.

Our Vision is to reach the world with the Word of God compelled by a love for God and a burden for people. We will achieve our goal of excellence by reaching out to spiritually lost and hurting people. We will work together to fulfill the Great Commission and to edify the body of Christ by bringing out the best in each other. Our vision is to glorify Jesus Christ and to expand His kingdom until He comes again.

The Clinton Wesleyan Church is a family focused church, united in love, with an active commitment to share the good news of Jesus Christ. Our purpose as a church is to reach the home, the church, the nation, and the world with Biblical values and transformed lives. We have set our focus upon building up the body of Christ and ministering to the needs of the community. We humbly seek spirit-filled worship that enables everyone to experience the presence and power of God. Our goal for ministry is to grow warmer through fellowship, deeper through discipleship, stronger through worship, broader through ministry, and larger through evangelism.

What Do Wesleyans Believe?

    We believe the Bible is the living Word of God and it is our final authority and standard of absolute truth.
    We believe in one God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
    We believe God loves all people and desires them to be saved.
    We believe Jesus is the only way of salvation. He died on the cross for our sins and all people who put their faith in Him alone have the promise of eternal life.
    We believe an individual must repent of sin, be born of God and receive the Holy Spirit to inherit eternal life in heaven with God.

    We believe all who receive new life in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct.
    We believe all new Christians receive the person of the Holy Spirit at the moment of conversion and He is the source of spiritual life and growth.
    We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit that empowers believers to live a spiritually mature Christian life in love and obedience to Christ.
    We believe all Christians are called to be a witness of Jesus Christ through worship, witnessing, and loving deeds.
